Darcy: 9 Months

We took Darcy to her 9 months check-up today. She measures 17 lbs and 14 ounces and is 29 inches long; 44th percentile for weight and 93rd percentile for height (WHO chart).

Darcy is so cute. In the last month, she has been saying "mama," waving bye-bye, and clapping her hands. She clicks her tongue and will click her tongue back when we click ours at her. Ava used to do the fake cough at this age and would fake cough when we coughed. So, Darcy's thing is clicking her tongue. Darcy is soooo close to crawling. She gets up on her hands and knees, rock back and forth, and tries to make a move before collapsing on her stomach. Darcy has two teeth and has been cutting four at once. She also dropped to two naps in the last couple of weeks and it was rough going but she seems to be doing better now.
