This is lentil sausage stew. It is a new recipe I'm trying and I doubled it to 12 servings so I could freeze a batch. I realized I'd made a pretty bold jump - what if I hated it and I've got a HUGE pot leftover? Luckily enough, it's delicious! I know the baby approved.
I cooked this in my big, tall stock pot and it was nearly full to the brim! So what does this tasty goodness have? Turkey kielbasa, carrots, celery, garlic, onion, potatoes, chicken broth, lentils, salt, cumin, cayenne pepper, diced tomatoes, and chopped green chiles.
It's nice and chilly out so the stew will be perfect. I'm going to make good ol' cornbread with it and we - Greg, the baby, and I - are going to feast tonight!
